How Does the Deletion Process Work?
If you need to delete your account, follow this steps to ensure a smooth process:
- Contact Us: The first step in deleting your account is to get in touch with our support team. This can be done through our contact form, by emailing us directly, or simply by clicking here to reach out.
- Express Your Wish: When contacting us, please clearly state that you wish to delete your account. Make sure to write the email from the same email address you used to register your StegX account.
- Confirmation: After receiving your request, StegX will verify that the deletion request genuinely comes from the account owner before proceeding with the deletion.
- Asset Transfer (Optional): Depending on your wallet setup, we ensure your assets remain accessible, especially for wallets created in collaboration with a StegX partner (Dfns).
- Deletion: Once we've confirmed that your account can be deleted, we will proceed with the process. You'll receive a final confirmation from us once your account has been successfully deleted.
What Happens to My Investments After Deletion?
Your funds and investments are stored in your digital wallet and will remain there even after you delete your StegX account. However, you may lose the most convenient way to manage your holdings after deleting your StegX account.
If you invested traditionally, your assets are not stored in a digital wallet and will remain accessible to you as before.
