Best fit

  • A clear security, collateral or cash flow story

Not a fit

  • Startup or early stage financing
  • Retail crowdfunding
  • An early concept without data room or clear economics
  • A search for investors without a defined project

08 / FAQ

The questions every
sponsor asks.

01Why does every listing start with Phase I?

Every new listing starts with a paid Phase I, because professional investors decide on clear terms and complete documents. Phase I prepares exactly that with you, in writing, so your deal is ready for investors before anything goes live.

02What if my deal is not ready yet?

Then Phase I shows you in writing what is missing. You keep that framework and can come back when your deal is ready.

03How long does it take to get listed?

Phase I usually takes two to four weeks from payment and the agreed minimum documents; time spent waiting for documents or review comments extends it by the same period. Phase I then sets the timeline for everything after it, because that depends on your documents and the structure.

04We have several projects. Is that one Phase I?

A defined portfolio with one financing need, one amount and one decision maker can be one deal. Your Phase I proposal confirms the scope and the fee before you pay.

05Do I lose control of my asset?

You decide. The structure and the investors' rights are set in Phase I and the product documentation, and you see both before anything is listed.

06Is this equity or debt?

That depends on your objective and the asset. Phase I sets the terms, and the structuring partner builds the instrument that fits them.

07Who sees our figures?

What is published and to whom is agreed with you in Phase I.

08Our product is already documented. Why Phase I?

For a finished product, Phase I is scoped in the proposal to what the listing needs from your documents and your issuer, nothing more.

09What does StegX not do?

StegX does not structure investment products, does not guarantee that capital is raised or that subscriptions come in, and does not promise a secondary market. We do not offer retail crowdfunding or finance startups.
